What is a GHL theme?
A GHL theme is a complete visual style for the GoHighLevel app: sidebar and header colours, page background, typography, corner radius and button style. The GHL Customizer includes 27 ready-made themes that you adjust to your brand and install with one line of code instead of writing GHL custom CSS.
What is a UI kit and how is it different from a theme?
A theme sets the overall colours and layout; a UI kit sets how individual components look. The 11 kits (such as Soft Shadow, Elevated, Glass and Rounded Pill) restyle cards, buttons, inputs, tables, tabs and modals, so you can pair any theme with any kit.
Does GoHighLevel have a dark mode?
Not built in for every page. The customizer adds one: 3 dark themes give GoHighLevel pages their own dark surfaces, borders and text colours. Handy for itinerary admin after the last tour of the day.
Will my brand colour replace the GoHighLevel blue?
Yes. The colour remap swaps GoHighLevel’s stock blue for your brand colour across buttons, links, toggles and highlights, so the whole app reads as yours, not just the sidebar.
Do I need to know GHL custom CSS?
No. The editor writes and hosts the CSS for you. You click through themes and kits with a preview beside you, then paste one line into GoHighLevel once.
Does the theme reach every sub-account?
Yes. Install it once in your GoHighLevel agency settings and the new look reaches every sub-account on the next page load. Later edits go live the moment you save, with no re-install.
Can the agency view look different from the operator view?
The theme applies to both, and the preview lets you check each. Agencies use this to make sure their own dashboard and their clients’ sub-accounts both look right before saving.
Which themes suit a travel company?
Many operators start with Ocean Glass, Desert Sand, Golden Hour or Alpine Glass because the names and palettes already feel like a destination, then change the colour to match their brand. Editorial Studio is a clean choice for agencies.
Is the GoHighLevel white label theme included in the cheapest package?
Yes. Every theme, UI kit and dark mode are in Day Trip at $177, as well as the higher packages.
Can I undo a theme if the team does not like it?
Yes. Saves are kept in version history, so you can roll back. Removing the Custom JS line returns GoHighLevel to its stock look entirely.
